Another year in the books and another year down the drain. You promised yourself you were going to get in shape this year right? So what's stopping you? You don't know where to start? You don't think you can do it? You don't have the motivation? Can't find a good skinny guy workout?
Believe me, you're not alone. There are tons of folks out there that are in the same situation as you. They have absolutely no idea what they're doing. Luckily, I'm here to help you with this fitness blog.
To start off, either join a gym or pick up some dumbbells from your local sporting goods store. You can score a good starter set for about $70. These will last you for life. Honestly I would recommend a gym, but if you don't have one that is convenient, dumbbells work fine from home.
Now what you'll need to do is iron out a plan. Write your goals down on paper so you're committed to them. Tell your friends that you're getting in shape. Recruit a support group to do it with you. It's a lot easier with help along the way.
Get started off with your basic exercises such as squats, rows, flys, and curls. We'll get into some more advanced techniques down the road. Check back often. This will be updated almost daily with some great skinny guy workout tips.
